ALEC Action Supports Education Freedom and Parental Empowerment in Georgia
ALEC Action, the 501c4 sister organization of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), strongly supports policies that promote parental empowerment and education freedom for students in Georgia. Whether a public school, private school, home school, virtual school, or something else, ALEC Action believes all of these options should be available to as many of Georgia’s 1.9 million school-age children as possible. Already this year, states like Iowa, Utah, Arkansas, and neighboring Florida have passed brand new programs that are available to every student and family in their state. Parents and students, not bureaucrats, must be free to make the best possible educational decisions for their unique situation.
