ALEC Action Endorses Jay West In South Carolina Primary

Arlington, VA – ALEC Action, the advocacy partner of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), proudly endorses Jay West for re-election to the South Carolina House of Representatives in the 2024 primary election.

“Rep. West remains a staunch supporter of the principles of limited government and free markets that are foundational to our nation. He has consistently defended those values every day in Columbia,” said ALEC Action President Andrew Yates. “South Carolina residents can trust Jay to safeguard their constitutional rights and uphold the ideals of liberty.”

Rep. West introduced decisive legislation designed to promote education freedom for all families as well as bill that keeps the politics out of pensions. A native of South Carolina, West holds an undergraduate degree from Coastal Carolina University and JD from Mississippi College School of Law.
